What is the California Small Business Association?

• Grass roots, volunteer driven, non-profit small business advocacy organization
• Mission to provide small business with a meaningful voice in state and federal gov't.

Duties

• Advocates views of small business to government officials - legislature, administration
• Communicates information to members regarding government programs in existence to assist small business
• Supports election campaigns of selected candidates
• Seek appointments representation of small business owners on government commissions, boards panels, etc.

Origin

• Founded as an outgrowth of the 1980 White House Conference on Small Business
