#9 Utilities
CSBA will lead the fight to expand generation supply in the State to help meet the growing demands for energy. Consumer protection for small business owners i.e. slamming, phishing, early termination fees, etc. and fairness in rates are major objectives in the utility areas of energy, telecommunications and water.

| SB 370 – Blakeslee: Authorizes an agricultural customer-generator w/ multiple meters to elect to aggregate the electrical load of the meters located on the property where the generation facility is located and on all property adjacent or contiguous to the property on which the generation facility is located.
