#3 Tax and Budget
CSBA supports a balanced state budget including budget reform, without an increase in taxes. Target areas are any increases in the cost of doing business in California including, unemployment tax and corporate franchise tax. We support taxes for e-commerce, the elimination of the minimum corporate franchise tax in non-profitable years and a carryover of net operating losses to conform to federal tax laws.
