AB 2375 – Hernandez: Health care workforce: master plan: Requires the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development to establish a health care workforce task force to help develop a health care workforce master plan for the state.
AB 2715 – Levine: Health facilities: level of care: Requires that acute care hospitals provide the same level or service and care as a regular hospital.
AB 2839 – Huffman: Health Care Providers' Bill of Rights: Prohibits a health care service plan health insurer from requiring a health care provider to execute an unfair and unreasonable agreement as a condition of entering into contract negotiations with the plan or insurer.
AB 2842 – Berg: Solicitation: unfair business practices: Makes it an unfair business practice for solicitors of health care service plans and health insurance policies to engage in cold lead advertising or to use an appointment made to discuss Medicare products to solicit the sale of other health care service plan or health insurance products.
